How effective is birth control at getting rid of ovarian cysts?

Will birth control make them stop? I have ovarian cysts and they hurt bad.

I get ovarian cysts, so I feel your pain!! Birth control pills can help with getting rid of ovarian cysts and prevent them from coming. In my case I was on BC for 6 years and I don’t want to go back on it, so I’m stuck dealing with the pain!! Good Luck
