I get ovarian cysts frequently; about every 2-3 months. Will this affect my ability to conceive?
-Does an ovarian cyst make conception less likely? On a website i read that the only condition in which it effects chances of conceiving is “polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)” –which i don’t have any symptoms of.
Is this true that other kinds do not effect it?
-Even still, does the frequency of occurrence effect my chances? Does it mean I have unhealthy ovaries?

yes, their is a bigger chance of not being able to conceive and if you get pregnant you might not be able to carry out the full 9month pregnancy. It is said that having PCOS their is the risk of miscarriages. Sad but true.

Many women get cysts every month or every few months. Sometimes it blocks women from conceiving sometimes it doesn’t. PCOS isn’t the only condition that effects your chances of conceiving but it is the most common. Cysts can cause you to miscarry or block you from ovulating. Speak to your doctor and ask him/her about having children in the future. I don’t know all your details and I don’t know the sizes of your cysts but it sounds like you get cysts when you get your period and they go away when your period goes away, those are simple cysts and usually don’t effect you.
